About the Author
Gene Frederick

After a career as a bean counter at Texas Instruments, Gene Frederick got into real estate in the 80’s. He began his career at a small brokerage (Brodie, Dillingham, and Lowell). Soon thereafter he joined Remax where he was in the TOP 20 agents in the state of Texas. He then decided to enter the franchise world as an owner. In the early 90’s he and his wife Susan joined Keller Williams. There, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills. His achievements as the top recruiter for KW in multiple years underscore his ability to attract and retain talent. Additionally, his role as a Team Leader and Regional Director exemplified his capacity to drive growth and expansion within the organization. Gene’s leadership was instrumental in significantly increasing the agent count at various Keller Williams offices, showcasing his talent for fostering a culture of success and achievement. Throughout their years at KW, he and Susan acquired ownership of 6 offices and partial ownership in a region. In 2015, they decided to sell their franchise ownership and join exp realty. Since then, Gene has been instrumental in the growth of exp and he also sat on the companies’ Board of Directors. He and Susan now enjoy life in Puerto Rico where he continues to do what he loves best; attracting agents and coaching them with their businesses. They also enjoy making memories with their 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
