This book masterfully weaves high stakes, deep personal growth, and a shadowy conspiracy into a compelling narrative. What captivated me most was how the author balanced the intensity of the protagonist’s imprisonment with the unfolding layers of the larger mystery. Each chapter felt like a step closer to unraveling a deeper, more dangerous truth. Even within the grim setting of a prison, the story never loses momentum—there’s always action, always intrigue, and always a reason to keep turning the page.

One thing I really enjoyed about this book was how the author was able to take a simple "injustice" plot and add themes of strength, teamwork, and survival.
