As KIM writes page after page take you through the charm of the beautiful setting of the book. The main idea of this book is to explore the deep question of what it really means to be an artist and how creation can help people evolve and heal from pain.


The main character, who is haunted by wounds from his youth, finds comfort and freedom in his art. He uses the painting as a way to make peace with his past and figure out how to feel. The coming of Hyunah ties his journey together, and their chance meeting sparks a deep connection that forces both characters to face their weaknesses and wants.

About the Author

Hyunah Kim




Hyunah Kim is a well-traveled artist with a background in English literature. She initially graduated from a university in Seoul and then embarked on a journey across Europe, where she pursued her passion for fashion and became a makeup artist and a stylist in Paris. Afterwards, she moved to Munich, and to Vienna, where she met the artist painter Axel, who served as inspiration for her debut novel “Dammi Mille Baci. Her journey constantly kept her moving from Europe, back to Korea, then to Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. In the summer of 2019, she moved to Antibes, in the French Riviera, in the beautiful Côte d'Azur and settled down where she enjoys a seaside lifestyle.


She has a deep love for animals, particularly sea turtles and horses, and has a talent for playing the classical piano and indulging in various artistic endeavours. Her second book “Rise to the Horizon” is now available.
