Editorial Book Review:

By William Reimers

Michelle Cray's Stretched is a gripping story about how hard it can be to deal with ambition, desire, and the problems that life throws at us. From the first page on, the story keeps you interested. It makes you feel like you're on the edge of a cliff—exciting, tense, and totally interesting. You care about the people in the story and what they do and the problems they have.

The book is mostly about personal growth, resilience, and the complicated ways that relationships work. These ideas are true for everyone. They remind readers that being brave and being weak often go hand in hand when trying to reach their goals. Michelle's stories are both personal and deep. The story moves quickly, and the characters really think about how they feel. Her writing is sharp, and her images are clear, making scenes that feel real and alive.

One of the best things about her writing is how she makes the characters' feelings real while also building tension inside and outside of them. Some readers may find some scenes too intense, but this only makes them want to read more. Some of the most memorable parts are when personal choices have unexpected effects. This makes the story more exciting and helps us understand how people work.

Stretched is more than just a story; it makes you think about the choices you make, your goals, and how you interact with other people. Michelle Cray's writing makes you think and gets you excited at the same time. This is a good book for people who want to read something with a lot of emotion, tension, and realism.  It shows that telling stories can be the best way to stretch both the heart and the mind.

About the Author

Michelle Cray

Since she was a young girl, Michelle enjoyed writing in her diary. However, she didn’t seriously consider writing a book until more recently. Prior to her career as an author, Michelle worked in finance for a large corporation, finding it stressful and unfulfilling. It was when she gave birth to her first child in April of 2020 that she decided to focus her energy on her family.

During this time, she pursued writing as a hobby and started working on her first comedic feature screenplay. She realized how much she enjoyed the process of artistic creation and continued it through her book. Stretched is her first published work, and she hopes to continue her love of writing through future novels and screenplays. Michelle is a happily married, stay-at-home mom of two boys, and an inspiring comedian.
