Born in Bagan Serai, a small town in rural Malaysia, Dr. Beh was the youngest of seven siblings in a family that ran a modest fruit wholesale business. His early years were shaped by helping in the family business, exploring nature, and participating in the Boy Scouts, where he developed leadership skills and a commitment to service.

After completing his education in medical microbiology and earning an MBA from Golden Gate University, Dr. Beh purchased a small pathology laboratory in 1981, marking the beginning of BP Healthcare Group. Over four decades, he has expanded this single laboratory into a comprehensive healthcare network with more than 120 outlets nationwide, offering services ranging from diagnostic testing to specialist medical care.

Dr. Beh’s innovative approach has revolutionized healthcare delivery in Malaysia by integrating primary, secondary, and tertiary care services while embracing technological advances. During the COVID-19 pandemic, BP Healthcare Group became a crucial provider of testing and vaccination services throughout the country.

Beyond his business achievements, Dr. Beh is an accomplished polo player who has competed internationally at the highest levels. His passion for polo reflects his approach to life and business—following “the line of the ball” by staying true to principles while seizing opportunities for growth.

A devoted family man, Dr. Beh has successfully integrated his children into the family business while encouraging them to develop their own strengths. His commitment to giving back is evident in his support for various charitable causes, including the Boy Scouts and healthcare foundations.
