Shane is an entrepreneur, business owner, outdoorsman, and author of The Long Road to Jesus. His life has been shaped by success, failure, searching, and ultimately a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Growing up in a small town, Shane was exposed to Christianity from an early age, but his experiences with Christians and organized religion often left him more skeptical than inspired. Like many people, he sometimes saw a disconnect between what Christians professed and how they lived. Rather than drawing him toward Christ, those experiences pushed him in the opposite direction.

For much of his life, Shane pursued success, achievement, financial security, and recognition, believing those things would bring the fulfillment he was looking for. His journey took him through experiences and choices that would eventually force him to confront some difficult questions about his life, his faith, and what truly matters.
